As many others do, I too seem to end up in debates quite often over the semantics of the word cuckoldry and to whom, and what acts it applies. I don't do this for the express purposes of being an anally retentive pedantic but rather for the following reasons.
 
I am not an anthropologist so am somewhat winging it here. However, to the best of my somewhat limited knowledge, we have had precious few cultures or society's that were matrilineal as far as titles and property. Meaning that women throughout history have had very little economic power as it pertains to ownership of land.
 
Obviously on the religious front the majority were designed with a patriarchal society in mind. So we have had very little power or equality in that area as well. Going back through the years there were many that had some version of a polygamous lifestyle with the males being the leaders and they alone having multiple wives. In portions of the Muslim world, males may have as many wives as they desire as long as they are in a financial position to maintain them.
 
So there is no shortage of examples of the male/female relationship dynamic currently and throughout history were women were treated as chattel. No options, no vote, no recourse, and used as slave labor or brood mares for reproducing the males genes and offspring.
 
Ok so back to cuckolding. The dispute seems to stem from the confusion over what is cuckolding, versus swinging, versus wife watching, versus cuckqueaning, versus a just straight up getting busy orgy. Some think the word cuckold should be broadly applicable to virtually anyone of those types of categories or parts of them or some of them. I happen to disagree.
 
The reason I feel strongly about this is that if you take the entirety of the history of human beings in nearly all cases and points in history we have been severely to moderately oppressed by males. And of course this applies to our bodies, our sexuality and in many cases 100% of the female sexual acts, reproductive choices, shaving or not, tanning or not, piercing body parts or not, getting tattoos (voluntarily or not) or not, masturbation, dildos, being ordered to pleasure other males and in some cases females for the amusement of her "husband/owner/Master?, the list never ends.

In the "classic" definition of cuckoldry it implies a sexually aware, sexually aggressive woman who is stepping out of the binds of the traditional marital vows to get properly fucked, with or without her husbands knowledge or approval. Its unique in that its the only "area" (for lack of a better word) where the female does this. This is what makes it rare, it makes it so much more intense and thrilling. In the majority of the above examples its some sort of sex acts, geared towards the males satisfaction, or arranged by him, or proposed by him, for his fantasy fulfillment. In cuckoldry (old version) its about her, its about the female, its about her satisfaction and fulfillment, its about me.
 
So when people want to have two "straight" males, one sub and on Dom where they engage in cocksucking and humiliation games, calling it 'Cuckold Training" and no female is present nor involved, it waters down what cuckolding means to me. When people want to have "Foot Cuckolding" and the endless obsession with BBC, and sex slaves dressed in an apron, or cross dressed, or doing Bull Foot Worship, or talk about "cucks" and run ads saying 'Cuckold seeks Mistress for Phone Sex" and whatever else, I feel robbed of the power that cuckolding has added to my life. Do I really care that others do, call, refer, play whatever "cuckold games" they want?

Not really, its a free country. But while engaging in conversation with me, I only intend to refer to it and to discuss it in the manner in which the definition matches the word. I simply view it as one aspect of equality at least and Female Domination at best. :)

Thanksgiving (Repost....cuz I'm too fucking lazy to write anything new.) :)

So...there I was immediately post-feast here on this fine Thanksgiving afternoon. I spent the week preparing, shopping, planning, checking recipes and (hopefully) remembering every detail. I spent most of the day cooking, baking and making sure my family and guests were full, sated and happy. 
As is typical after this sort of massive meal, especially with Turkey and the Tryptophan.......the various males either went home or relocated their bloated carcasses to the living room to watch the stupid football games.

While I am a workout fanatic, a freak really, often spending 2 to 3 hours a day working out, I'm not a sports fan. I mean sure.......I enjoy seeing the guys that have muscles, tight asses with huge thighs, but beyond that, no thanks. Anyhow, beyond hearing the game from the living room, while walking around I would catch glimpses of the game. Remarkable how hard they smash into each other and the sound of impact when they do. 

Which led me to........why is it that contact sports are viewed as perfectly acceptable in society but kinky sex, S&M, is not seen the same by the majority of the masses? I mean you have football, boxing, wrestling, martial arts kickboxing, MMA stuff, and whatever other sports that involve direct hitting, etc.. Now here we have activities viewed as....manly, a builder of character, healthy competition, and all that Mom, faux patriotism, and apple pie nonsense. Hard hitting, cracking heads, bruising and knocking people flat on their backs....or out....is a "good" thing to many people, right?

Take many of the same motions, or hand/foot movements, couple it with the intent of sexual arousal or something akin, and suddenly its a perversion. Instead of punching or kicking to knock your opponent out, you're spanking or slapping or kicking or kneeing a submissive male in the balls. Instead of using martial arts weapons for a competition, you're using a cane to whip and punish a bare bottom. Rather than wrestling on a mat for a trophy, you're wrestling with a sub and maybe it ends up with a little forced face sitting. The face sitting *is* the trophy in this case, lol. :)

We all know that one segment of the opposition or detractors is the religious right. Those that...for whatever incomprehensible reason...view their being born with genitals as a dirty little sin. They whom think that using those same genitals for anything other than marital sexual relations with the goal of reproduction......in the dark, lights off, once a month, only on Thursdays when its raining......silly nonsense like that. Yea, those people.

So, slapping someone in the face for "sport" is great but doing it for dominance or punishment is a sin?

Football players swatting (spanking) each other on the butt is part of a manly sporting ritual, but when I spank my submissive its a perverted sin?

Getting hit, or hitting a guy in the balls during sport is acceptable but me slapping my husband's balls is a catastrophic breakdown in the natural order of patriarchal biblical based rule and is a sin and to some a crime?

Two sweaty guys, nearly nude, grappling, groping and crotch bumping on a wrestling mat is a sport that goes back to the original Olympics. It should be outlawed lest some innocent child happens across it and in later years, reenacts the same? 

Violence for sport, trophies, money and fame is a laudable pursuit and expenditure of time and money but do the identical acts for sexual pleasure and its a sin and left to some....should they have the political power.....it would also be a crime. I just view it as it being as much a part of our makeup and nature as is ones preference for the genres of books, movies or music we enjoy. Some people will always, always, always prefer classical over any other type. If suddenly there was no more classical music, they'd find something relatively close to it and still find comparative happiness with that. Apply the same to sports, or food or whatever else. 

But while your question was about one sort of specific act/fetish within the larger realm (yes, you mentioned FemDom dynamic) its hard to put into context what "vanilla" is to the individual. If someone thinks oral sex is "kinky" and suddenly had to go without, there is still normal penetrative sex. So, would they still have some satisfaction? Sure.

I would point out to you that you've never been "vanilla" in the classical sense as you are bi. To a hardcore socially conservative....that's already a sin and makes you of questionable moral turpitude. Meaning a perverted freak in their eyes. So its all sort of relative to begin with.

For myself, if all avenues of "kinky sex" were suddenly cut off from me, I suppose I'd have normal intercourse a few times a year and that's it.   :)
