The title is a blog comment made by the person attributed above, in relation to this post. And it's sarcasm, and truth, is quite amusing and sort of horrifying. Some people in society, throughout history, have tried to "shield" the rest of us from the "filth" of the naked body based on some silly nonsense, usually of the fundamentalist religion nature.
Depictions, art, petroglyphs, cave drawings, daguerreotypes and a myriad of other forms in various mediums have existed as long as mankind has had a fascination with the human form. Trying to oppress others, based on your own prejudices and fear, speaks more about you than it does those that are not threatened by it. And they are indeed on the "scrub-it-clean" move. Tumblr, Instagram, Facebook, Google+, Craigslist and a multitude of other social media sites brag about "free speech" provided it meets their heavily censored version of free "speech".
More recent estimates push the date back slightly to between about 28,000 and 25,000 BCE. In a 2009 reexamination of the stratigraphy at the site, researchers estimated that the age of the archaeological layer in which the figurine was found is about 30,000 years before our time.
