‘He better pick a Black woman’: African American activists say Biden would pay a price if he chooses a white woman. (Fucking Jackasses.)

Demanding, blackmailing really, (no pun intended) that Biden picks a black woman just because she's black, or a woman, just because she's female, defeats the agenda of merit, equality, egalitarianism and all that the Democrats claim to stand for. Pandering to one demographic, any demographic, where sexism and a form of racism is part of the agenda...you just lost my vote.

Now I have to vote for myself, or no one, or write in Bernie Sanders, or my dog...I have no idea. Its just such a disappointment. If the GOP had stated, that Trump must pick a white male for...HUD director, instead of Ben Carson (a black male), or demanded that Trump pick a while male for Surgeon General, instead of Jerome Adams (also a black male) what would the Dem/Left reaction have been?

Bigotry, racism, sexism, favoritism, no matter what, no matter from who, is wrong. If the Dems or Biden do it, its just as wrong as if the GOP or Trump does it, or if their voters insist on it. And that these egotistical idiots are so full of themselves that they're applying this sort of pressure on Biden, makes me have no respect for them, not that I did anyway, as I have no idea who most of them are.

If black people demand black appointees, and if the LGBTQIA community demand appointees, and if the Jewish and/or Asian, and/or Muslim, and/or Atheist communities each demand respective appointees, if they all do that, under the threat of blackmailing any said candidate, where does that leave the candidate, and where is the cohesion? I thought the goal here was people all being treated the same, equally, without regard to age, race, color, sexual orientation, creed etc. Its gross. Its ugly. It makes me wonder why the hell I would support Black Lives Matter type movements, if after that, they, some, a few, are just going to turn out to be bigots demanding preferred status. There is no point to this post beyond...just venting frustration and disappointment. Fuck me...

  2. It’s true that white men have dominated politics and other areas for too long, but Joe Biden made a mistake in committing to pick a woman.

But it’s either Joe or Donald.

I do love Marylin Monroe in that potato sack. Might be a bit scratchy though.

    1. I'd love for him to pick a woman, and a black woman, or Asian, or a lesbian, or whatever else is fine. But what I want is the most "qualified" person...and that has nothing to do with sex, gender or race. The criteria should be based on temperament, experience, attitude, empathy, intelligence and other factors "first"....not sex or skin color. :)

  3. Your grasps of politics and social justice are abhorrent. As a white male I understand the playing field is tilted dramatically in my favor, speculating on the reaction if republicans demanded a white person be picked is simple moral equivalency. The demands are being made because without them the status quo continues. Let’s not kid ourselves pence was not picked because of his merit it was his appeal to religious homophobes that are the base of their party. Biden would not be the presumptive candidate if it were not for African American voters and an African American politician, James Clyburn in South Carolina!

    1. I see that...reading comprehension is not your strong suit. Neither is focusing, staying on topic, ratiocination nor clearly explaining your point...but thanks for playing. :)

  4. Greetings.

Trust me when I say that a Black Woman as a VP is not what Black America is demanding. What we are demanding are tangibles, not empty symbolic gestures that have never benefited our community and never will.

Plus if a Black Woman was chosen as a Biden running mate, she would have no love for Black America and would be used to cosign any Anti-Black policies running around Jim Crow Joes head.

    1. Your first paragraph is noted and understood. I'm not so sure about the second paragraph though as it lost me. I don't really associate Biden with Jim Crow...but that's just me. Biden has a history of political gaffs and saying stupid things, but I've never felt it was out of malice.

    2. Charlemagne Tha God tried to ask Biden that, and had his blackness denied by Biden. Charlemagne was 100% right, and Biden was 100% wrong.

    3. I've no idea who that is, or what the topic was...so will yield to your expertise. :)

    4. CTG is a black radio talk show host. He had Biden on, and when he started asking questions, Biden said he had to go. CTG politely invited him back, said his community has questions about what he would do. As in saying he wanted specifics, not to assume the blacks would vote blue no matter Who, and Biden exploded. He said if CTG didn't know if he was for trump or Biden, he wasn't black. Youtube has it

  6. Biden, by committing to name a woman, has made her a quota pick. If he wins, she will forever be seen as a quota pick, and she and her accomplishments, will be lessened by that. If he had simply chosen one, she would not be diminished.

  7. Dr. Jo Jorgensen. Intellectually makes both Trump and Biden look silly. Now is the time to break the two party stranglehold on this country!

  8. Much ado about nothing. Biden needed to pick a candidate who he believes will strengthen his election chances. As a norther Catholic, Kennedy picked Johnson because he needed to shore up his chances in the South. the point of that letter was to remind Biden that he needed to generate more enthusiasm among the Democratic parties most loyal supporters. Simple politics.

    1. Actually it is "ado" about something, there is no such thing as "simple politics" and what happened pushing 60 years ago with Kennedy and Johnson is not relevant to this issue. But, thanks for playing anyway. :)
