I just recently closed my Instagram account. They kept demanding I supply them with my cell phone number, and eventually they "froze" it unless I did. Mark Zuckerberg (owner of Facebook and Instagram) is not going to be content until he has every single person on the planets personal information, bio, photos, phone number, address, shopping habits, health records, voting records, and anything else he can get/steal so he can sell your information to marketers, Russian bots and whomever else. I mean what do you expect from a hacker.
