After every war since WW2, regardless of political ideology, party preferences or who holds office, we essentially abandon the people that fought those wars. This is no good. We need to stomp our feet, scream, yell, write, call, use social media, be obnoxious, even throw things, whatever it takes, with our elected officials until they change this.
