I was bothered by the assertion that male atheists are somehow misogynist and traditionally have been. I personally have never seen this and in fact have consistently seen the opposite. Since atheists are not rooted in male-dominated religious dogma, are usually more educated than most believers, and also are progressive thinkers, I have found the other atheists I know to be extremely appreciative of atheistic women. It is a shame the author did not cite historical source for that bothersome claim.
The other odd claim was the author's assertion that "atheist" is a derogatory term that atheists themselves tend to shun. I have never seen that. "Atheist" is a clear term, far more precise than "free-thinker". If atheists shy away from anything, it might be 'coming out' publicly AS an atheist...........due to the hostility that results.
The rest of the article wasn't..............bad, but frankly I find almost every magazine-style article on just about any subject nowadays to be superficial and obvious. This one was only slightly better than most.
(I heard on a TV documentary that a national poll from a few years ago ranked the trustworthiness of atheists as nearly equal to a sex-crime offender.)
I do like that someone with a sexually-themed blog posted this though. Good job.-----KDPierre (fellow atheist.............or do I have to call myself a "free-thinker" to be PC? ;-))

Its just such nonsense, but yet a serious concern for far too many. :)
