This will Open Your Heart....and Make You Cry.

If we, as a nation, and a world, as a species, aren't advocating for those that have challenges, for those without a voice, for those that need assistance, for the downtrodden, for those born into unfortunate circumstances or in the "wrong" country, for those that need help...what the hell is the point of our own lives?

Cher: The Ultimate Icon in Female Dominance.

I've been meaning to do a post about Cher for quite some time, but just kept pushing it forward. So, jumping back, way back, starting when I was young, really young, I recall seeing the Sonny and Cher show on TV every once in awhile. Some of the things that left an impression on me were her "look", her risque attire, her long straight hair and thin body, (I have sort of the same body and hair, and growing up wanted to have more tits, ass and big blonde hair as it was what was "popular".) her attitude, how she mocked Sonny, obviously her voice, just her overall aura, stage presence, and personal style.

One of the things I love is her attitude. Her give-a-fuck attitude, where she called Letterman an asshole (outrageous for that era), how she doesn't mind being single, but also isn't afraid to embrace her sexuality and point blank, goes after whatever man she wants, young, old, wild, tame, whatever suits her desire. I've no idea if she's at all kinky in the bedroom, but would be willing to posit a guess that she demands satisfaction...however that comes about.

Her child, Chastity, now known as Chaz. Born female, came out at a young age as lesbian, later gender fluid, finally underwent a change. There were reports that Cher was initially a bit shocked and caught off guard, had a hard time processing all of this, but quickly embraced and fully supported her child. And obviously, Cher is a huge, huge, massive LGBTQIA icon.

Her emasculation of men. Part of the Sonny and Cher shows routine was her mocking Sonny for being small, for being less than "manly" and sort of implied he lacked sexual prowess and skills. Bear in mind, again, that for that era, the "little woman" was expected to do everything in her power to pump up the male ego, to sort of bow down, to play second fiddle and so on, which she never did so I found that unique and appealing. And she's done this with other men over her life, refusing to "play the role" that society expects us to box ourselves into.

She's always made her own money. She's made a gazillion dollars through music obviously, but she also made a fortune flipping houses, well mansions really, and had numerous other streams of income. She's never relied on a guy to pay for her life or lifestyle. That's attractive, liberating, and showed me and other women that you can do what you want, pay your own way, answer to no one, and live how you desire.

Her political activism. She's never shied away from stating her opinions on whatever's happening in the political world or on social issues. I remember when she called into C-Span, trying to remain anonymous initially until the shows host recognized her voice, where she was upset over the Bush war in Iraq and how they sent troops over there without the proper vests, helmets and other types of protective equipment. And of course, again, her activism for the LGBTQIA community, and a myriad of other causes. She's never been afraid to show passion for advocating for others.

The fashion, the wigs, the clothing, the hair, the shoes, the near nudity, the stretching and pushing of boundaries...those are all known, so well known, I won't elaborate on that. :)

She's just taken whatever talents and skills God and/or Mother Nature gave her, ran with it, always setting her own pace, setting out for a career in music, movies, whatever she desired, doing it, winning at it, owning it, never backing down to fear or stereotypes, telling the paparazzi to fuck off, just living her life. That's empowering, that's just being who she is, and being her own self. In a world full of fake people, full of posers, wanna-be's, frauds, double speaking wankers...her authenticity is refreshing. So yes, you could say I've been influenced by her, admire her, and am a lifelong fan.  :)

Sunday Sundry Stuff. :)

Some people enjoy eavesdropping on a neighbors argument. Personally I would hate it, and thankfully have no neighbors like that. But the point with this guy is...the hilarity he shows in trying to be "busy" while being outside, listening in.

Deflated, temporarily defeated (hopefully it will become permanent), mocked, derided, punk'd, trolled, ego busted...and not expecting cameras to be there when he returned from his failed "Rally of Hatred", but then trying to make the best of it.  :)

Manly stuff. How to properly screw with wood. :)

The risque implication here is rather...telling. :)

“Actually you just got ROCKED by teens on TikTok who flooded the Trump campaign w/ fake ticket reservations & tricked you into believing a million people wanted your white supremacist open mic enough to pack an arena during COVID,” tweeted Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
