I don't understand why some people are rather "negative" about sex. We're born nude, we were designed so in our middle teen years we might begin copulating and fornicating for the purposes of reproduction and of course that will involve pleasure (unless you're a submissive, then it might just involve pain...giggles to self).
So we have political pressure, a sex-negative feminist agenda (some are), aspects of religious oppression and guilt, social mores, societal conventions, blah, blah, blah. That's fine. For those that subscribe to the aforementioned...do what you want to do, and let us do what we *want* to do.
Sex eases stress. Being close to your partner can soothe stress and anxiety. Ambardar says touching and hugging can release your body's natural “feel-good hormone.” Sexual arousal releases a brain chemical that revs up your brain's pleasure and reward system.
Sex is a natural pain reliever: Sex causes increased production of oxytocin, which is often referred to as the “love hormone”. Before orgasm, oxytocin, released from the brain, surges and is accompanied by the release of endorphins, our natural pain-killing hormones.
Sex also can, could, might or will:
Helps Keep Your Immune System Humming.
Boosts Your Libido.
Be Pain Relief, Even From Menstrual Cramps.
Improves Women's Bladder Control.
Lowers Your Blood Pressure.
Counts as Exercise.
Burns Calories.
Lowers Heart Attack Risk.
Lessens Pain.
Create a Happier Mood and a Stronger Relationship.
May Make Prostate Cancer Less Likely.
Give You Glowing, Younger-Looking Skin
Impove Sleep. You know....8 Hours of Peace...Through Sexual Release.
It can improve virtually every aspect of live and be hugely positive to our physical and mental health. Plus, as a horny hedonist...I just simply love it! I'll be damned-to-tarnation if I'll ever allow others make me feel guilty about enjoying pleasure. No real point to this post other than I was thinking along these lines....so I wrote about them. :)
