Look, I'm not that smart...but I was under the impression that the amount of daylight hours had to do with the sun and earths rotation, *not* just simply...changing the clock to reduce daylight hours. But for further explanation of this typical bonehead conservative politician (shown below with his sexually repressed & frustrated, dildo loving wife), he graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. When you want to know about crime, astronomy and science, yea, go with the "theologian". And not to put too fine a point on it...most crime happens during the day, when politicians, bankers, insurance adjusters, doctors scamming Medicaid, Wall Street etc...are open for "business".  :)

Alrighty then...yes, I am at home today, not doing much, checking out some reaction videos. So, I come across this reaction (video below) of a well known Opera singer, reacting to, the greatest band the planet has ever seen, with my favorite song (though pretty much whatever Rush song I'm listening to at the moment, is my current "favorite"). I find it interesting when people that are extensively trained, classically trained, break down the music of people that...mostly have no training, but are just born with a natural gift for creating the kickiest kick ass, rocking rock music ever made. Best drummer, best bassist, best guitarist, best lyricist the world has ever seen. Light years ahead of anyone else. 

Yes, I have gone off the deep end, lol. 

But, for those that are Rush fans, who may be bored, it's fascinating to see the delight, the thrill, the enjoyment of someone from a totally different musical genre, be so impressed by 3 Canadian dudes that were mostly baked on hash and weed when they wrote much of their music. And again, for these guys, it was not due to education, training, college, or anything other than, just innate talent. Okay, enough out of me. Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend...I sure as hell am.  :)

I've mentioned a few times watching various YouTube podcasts, and the one below is amazing. A bit of background, (some of this was new to me) there is a lady named Suze Randall who is a photographer who shot massive amounts of porn for decades. I guess if people used to buy a lot of those magazines, they will recognize her name from the photo credits, and if you're old enough, recognise her from posing nude herself. She shot photos (and later video) for herself, for Playboy, Hustler and numerous other adult magazines. Her husband, Humphry Knipe is a writer and was involved, and later their daughter Holly Randall followed them in the business.

 

Anyway, the parents were partiers, bounced around the world, did a lot of drugs, were swingers, did a lot of orgies and so on. When the Internet was "new" Suze put her decades of photos on her own website and made a fortune. I mean a fortune. Apparently at one point they were making $8000 a day, yes per day. Her husband was the guy that came up with the idea for the Hustler "Meat Grinder" photo, which caused all kinds of controversy. 

So they bought a ranch near Malibu many years ago (when land was somewhat cheap) where Suze did much of her photography and had parties and orgies, raised a family, had a bunch of horses (apparently one kicked Suze in the face and she lost the sight in one eye). While doing this, they also fought the government over censorship, were involved with the Traci Lords scandal, and just generally said "Fuck You!" to society, did what they wanted, lived full lives, loved every minute of it, have no regrets and...its so refreshing (and educational) seeing people who have no fucks to give about PC nonsense, about stupid ass government/religious laws, and actually took a stand on things in life. It's a great reminder that people like them, and Larry Flynt (like him or not) put everything on the line to stand up for the First Amendment, for free speech, at a time when few others had the spine to do so. Without them, we'd still be living in fear of being incarcerated for possession of "obscene" books, movies and photos, which the far right of the GOP is trying to bring those laws back by the way, every, single, damn day. I throughly enjoyed it, and assume some of you will as well.  :)

Traci Lords (born Nora Louise Kuzma; May 7, 1968) is an American actress, singer, and former pornographic actress. Lords got into the adult film industry by using a fake birth certificate to conceal that she was two years under the legal age of 18. Lords starred in adult films and was one of the most sought-after actresses in the adult entertainment industry during her career. When the FBI acted on an anonymous tip that Lords was a minor during her time in the industry, and that pornographers were distributing and selling these illegal images and videotapes, the resulting fallout led to prosecution of those responsible for creating and distributing. Some people often mention "porn" as being an influence on how we see the world, or at least the "sex world". Most human beings are both exhibitionist and voyeur at the same time. We are a very visually oriented and stimulated species, as are most animals, of which yes, we are part of the animal kingdom. Aligned with that is the well known question of "Does art imitate life, or does life imitate art?". Long, long before anyone had a cell camera, or video, or cameras in general, or tintypes, daguerreotypes etc...people were drawing and carving on cave walls, rocks and trees, what they saw. I think the oldest known petroglyph is something like 74,000 years old, and the oldest known "sex" related petroglyph is about 38,000 years old. People drew, carved, etched what they were viewing...in this case they were watching other people fucking, sucking, copulating, getting busy, and no doubt that aroused others in the "audience". So to that end, life, real life, influences "art", always has, and always will. People that stipulate that "porn" has somehow reshaped what humans do sexually, are living under a rock, or in a sheltered religious world heavily influenced by Chick-flicks, romance novels and Disney movies...or both. 

My point is, beyond or irrespective of the "nature versus nurture" debate some might have over where sexual submission originates, social aspects, marriage, women as chattel, reproduction, macho men, Alphas and betas, the myriad of elements of cuckoldry...people have always enjoyed watching others having sex, and viewing the giving and receiving of pleasure. Minus fetish aspects that are unique to cuckoldry with some people, (Femdom, humiliation, chastity, etc) its the same as wife swapping, swinging, orgies and any other gang bang type public sexual gathering or activity. 

At least I think so, but I haven't had sex in so long...what the hell would I know?    :)
