A few times I've written about searching for the meaning of my life. Not the meaning of "life" as a whole, as that's too complicated. I just mean trying to figure out how make my life mean "more" to others and the planet.
For quite a few years now I've studied various religions (beyond the Big 3 monotheistic religions, Christianity, Islam and Judaism) like Zoroastrianism, some aspects of Hinduism, various practices and beliefs of ancient religions, indigenous people, Native American (I'm part Nipmuc) and also read and contemplated just ones own "spirituality" which does not have to tie to any organized religion.
I'm always curious when I come across an interesting person who is also exploring a similar path, trying to educate themselves, trying to find peace, solace, a bit of mental, emotional and spiritual tranquility and trying to be "one" with the world.
I love raunchy comedy, and have been a fan of Joe Rogan for years. While watching one of his podcasts while pumping away the miles on my recumbent bike, I came across this guy named Dorian Yates. While I am an exercise nut, I've no knowledge of bodybuilders so was only partially paying attention to the podcast, when some of the conversation got interesting. After watching it, I did some searches and came across more video, which I loved. Anyone that's trying to live a peaceful life, who tries to help others, who is open-minded, not a bigot nor a racist, not materialistic nor greedy, is someone I would probably enjoy knowing.
I think there is a huge connection between working out, Pilates, Yoga, martial arts and anything else with mental and spiritual happiness. At least for myself...its helped enormously.
The links below go to some videos, hours worth of video. And I'm sure a search would yield more. I was not familiar with the "London Real" channel or series but they appear to have some fantastic interviews which I look forward to viewing.

Apparently I touched a nerve with someone using the moniker "Mikey Thompson". I posted the text below (beneath the photos) on a social media forum and received his message which reads:

Seems a tad brusque and just a bit paranoid to me. Why would he think I am not me? I mean I know who I am. I am who I say I am, and I are, who I say I are, and am and be.
I'm not questioning if I am, who I say I think I am, lol. :)
Cuckoldry is the act of a married male and female wherein the female has a lover or lovers other than her husband. In modern times the term has extended to involved people, engaged people, those living together, a girl friend and a Mistress. My intention is not to be pedantic but simply to clarify and inform. Its irrelevant if others care to agree with me. I base my statements on the definition of the word, on many years of experience, evidence, logic and that simple thing known as fact. I know this firsthand, as I travel a great deal, and have met quite a few people. I know many people curious about it and/or involved in it. Single females, males, couples, Bulls, and many married couples that desire it. Some people seem to have a hard time finding compatible partners.

Perhaps its all in the way one approaches and vets potential applicants. If people would just understand better what they are talking about, know what they are looking for and what the ads they place actually mean, plus be honest and upfront about their expectations, limitations, and hopes and fantasies, everyone could cut through the red tape and start living their fantasy instead of just dreaming about it. Sub-Drop and Sexual Anxiety.
No, this isn't about dropping off your used and abused submissive at the local bus station like you would a distant second cousin you dislike after a way too long unannounced visit. This is about the depression or abandoned feelings and emotions after an intense session or when they are away. Background, anyone that has had the misfortune of reading my rambling babblings knows that my, introduction into the kink or fetish world was very unconventional.
It appears that, for many at least, they get into a lifestyle by learning about it from a boy or girl friend early in their sexual development year. Some go the route of munches, play parties, etc. It seems that the younger generation (those in their 20s) have a variety of social locations, bars, clubs, places that have theme nights which they frequent. Some are from the Old Guard. Some have fetish clubs where they dress up once a week on Fridays nights & hit the clubs where they then proceed to hit each other apparently. For myself, it was something I gravitated to of my own volition & had to pressure or demand it of previous boyfriends, to little satisfaction, and then later to a guy I was dating, whom became my husband, wherein I beat and tormented & trained him to do my bidding. Success at last. :)
So, my point is that much of the terminology that is used in the B&D, S&M, fetish, kink community is foreign to me as other than a few visits to a munch or something similar, my fetish life has always been private. I was not ever aware of the term "sub-drop" until recently. I am very aware of the nervous and anxious nature of my submissive husband when he is suspicious that I have some nefarious plot upcoming that may involve him being used in some disgusting and humiliating ways.
