Someone has been posting in my comments section calling me transphobic due to my stance on transwomen competing against women in sports. I approve all posts before anyone else can read them, so I could just delete them...but as I support free speech, and have no fear in discussing this topic, have zero fear in some idiots "cancelling" me...have no fear in using science and facts to beat down their PC rhetoric...I post and reply to those messages.

Women are women.
Transwomen are transwomen.
Men are men.
Transmen are transmen.
They are not the same.
They never will be.
Supporting equal rights does *not* mean giving an unfair advantage to transwomen over women in sports. One has nothing to do with the other. I'm not going to go back into all of the specifics and genetic details as I've written numerous blog posts (and books) about the topic....go read, or not, makes no difference to me.

This person is known as Lia Thomas. A transwoman swimmer that was good as a male, and superb when competing against women as a transwoman. Lia is a transwoman...not a woman. Period. Anyone can see the difference. And anyone can tell by the change in the number of "wins" when competing as a man in the past, to now, competing against women, that it is unfair, and that transwomen are not women.

Some foolish people want to state that hormone levels equal things out. Meaning if a transwoman has the same levels of testosterone as a woman...it's "all good".
Bullshit.
Normal testosterone levels in teen boys 12 years old is 7 to 800 ng/dL
Normal testosterone levels in teen boys 15 is 100 to 1,200 ng/dL
Normal testosterone level in late teen males 300 to 1,000 ng/d.
Testosterone level in adult males 19+ years old is 300 to 1,000 ng/dL
Take the high level of 800 for a 12 year old male and compare that to an upper level high of 800 for an adult male and that means they have roughly the same level of the hormone testosterone.
Meaning this 12 year old boxer could have the same level of testosterone...
As this guy.

ReplyDeleteCan we just celebrate trans men and women for what they are, brave, beautiful, gorgeous trans men or trans women, not men or women. Why do we keep trying to put all people into binary boxes. Many do fit but there are a lot who don't and lets celebrate and love them for that, be they trans, non-binary, intersex, asexual, the list goes on. Let men be men, women be women and everyone else be the wonderful humans they are too, let's just not pretend they are what they are not.
Many cultures have recognised that humans are complex and that there are a diversity of genders for eons. It's high time we did too rather than trying to force people into two specific boxes, male and female. Leave those boxes for those who are but also give recognition for those other genders and identities too.

I totally agree with you, on everything you said. Truly. I am all for people living as they want and I am all for equality. Promoting the rights of trans people should not, and can not, mean taking away the rights of others. Promoting the rights of any minority is the right thing to do...as long as it does not retract or shrink the rights of someone else. And the majority of time...it does not. We have, within the sports world, the Olympics, the Senior Olympics, the Special Olympics, the Paralympics, kids sports, start a trans league for sports...where the competition is fair, and everyone can, do their "thing" and everyone will be just so fucking happy...they'll be peeing all over themselves, with equalized glee, lol. :)

Vanessa: well stated and supported…and if you hear something in the background it is applause..Standing Applause…..I am with you in allowing people to live their lives and believe what they wish as long as it does not detract from others….protecting the rights of one group should not be at the expense of another…and if one respectfully holds a different point of view….to be labeled and disgraced because it is just a different view….well a lot of the issue dividing our country these days…..an immature group of folks we have raised…

However, the comments themselves either only a) appear after a long, long delay or b) never appear at all. I think a good part of the entire Internet is about to collapse. These idiots with their bots and AI thinking it's going to run everything automated, with no human oversight, so they can reap more profits by having less employees...not going well. Most of Etsy is malfunctioning in many ways, parts of Amazon, e-Bay, blogger, search engines, some social media, Twitter, pretty much you name it. Companies have made it impossible to contact them, no live human beings available...does not bode well for the future tech wise...at least in the short term. I might have to take a nap...for a year or two, until they sort this out, lol. :)
