I could live with that title for you! I think High Priestess Vanessa sounds excellent. I have this vision of your service; you preaching to a room full of subbies and sissies. At the end all must form a line, kneel before you, kiss your feet, and say "All Praise High Priestess Vanessa!" Then you crack them with your crop, to let them know they are dismissed!
As a recovering Catholic I spent a good deal trying to remain seated and getting hauled to my feet by an ear. Probably no way around the ear pulling but at least I can enjoy the sitting part if only vicariously :)
I do wonder about the frequent use of the ruler. Many a night my palms would too sore to get up to much mischief. Combine that with the raging hormones of youth. You may a point there.
Both Christianity and BDSM use the Cross. Both use versions of guilt, sin, penance and corporal punishment. Both have aspects of uniforms and authority figures one has to answer to. Kneeling, genuflection, honor, worship...the list of similarities goes on and on. :)
The church of BDSM would be the only one i would ever remotely consider joining, although maybe only in a lay position :)
