Damian Lillard pulls up in a U-Haul to hand out free shoes to kids. The Portland Trail Blazers star Tweeted that he would be handing out free shoes at a local park. Dozens of young fans clamoring for autographs and new shoes showed up.
A California couple set out to raise $1,500 for the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services, which pays the bonds and legal fees of parents and children separated at the border.
It didn't quite go as they planned.
They got $20 million.
