I've mentioned a few times watching various YouTube podcasts, and the one below is amazing. A bit of background, (some of this was new to me) there is a lady named Suze Randall who is a photographer who shot massive amounts of porn for decades. I guess if people used to buy a lot of those magazines, they will recognize her name from the photo credits, and if you're old enough, recognise her from posing nude herself. She shot photos (and later video) for herself, for Playboy, Hustler and numerous other adult magazines. Her husband, Humphry Knipe is a writer and was involved, and later their daughter Holly Randall followed them in the business.

 

Anyway, the parents were partiers, bounced around the world, did a lot of drugs, were swingers, did a lot of orgies and so on. When the Internet was "new" Suze put her decades of photos on her own website and made a fortune. I mean a fortune. Apparently at one point they were making $8000 a day, yes per day. Her husband was the guy that came up with the idea for the Hustler "Meat Grinder" photo, which caused all kinds of controversy. 

So they bought a ranch near Malibu many years ago (when land was somewhat cheap) where Suze did much of her photography and had parties and orgies, raised a family, had a bunch of horses (apparently one kicked Suze in the face and she lost the sight in one eye). While doing this, they also fought the government over censorship, were involved with the Traci Lords scandal, and just generally said "Fuck You!" to society, did what they wanted, lived full lives, loved every minute of it, have no regrets and...its so refreshing (and educational) seeing people who have no fucks to give about PC nonsense, about stupid ass government/religious laws, and actually took a stand on things in life. It's a great reminder that people like them, and Larry Flynt (like him or not) put everything on the line to stand up for the First Amendment, for free speech, at a time when few others had the spine to do so. Without them, we'd still be living in fear of being incarcerated for possession of "obscene" books, movies and photos, which the far right of the GOP is trying to bring those laws back by the way, every, single, damn day. I throughly enjoyed it, and assume some of you will as well.  :) 

 

Traci Lords

Traci Lords (born Nora Louise Kuzma; May 7, 1968) is an American actress, singer, and former pornographic actress. Lords got into the adult film industry by using a fake birth certificate to conceal that she was two years under the legal age of 18. Lords starred in adult films and was one of the most sought-after actresses in the adult entertainment industry during her career. When the FBI acted on an anonymous tip that Lords was a minor during her time in the industry, and that pornographers were distributing and selling these illegal images and videotapes, the resulting fallout led to prosecution of those responsible for creating and distributing. In addition, all but the last of her adult films were banned as child pornography.

Canadian MPs vote to ban LGBT 'conversion therapy'. :)

Canada's House of Commons has voted unanimously to ban so-called LGBT conversion therapy. The legislation would make it illegal to have a child undergo the practice or have anyone unwillingly undergo it. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's Liberals proposed the measure, though its passage prompted applause on both sides of the aisle.

The “War on Porn” is International. Russian proposal to ban all gay content.

While the U.S. based adult entertainment industry is understandably focused on a renewed “War on Porn” at home, across the pond governments are pushing for new anti-porn policies that will impact adult digital platforms with global audiences. Two of these governments, those of the United Kingdom and the Russian Federation, recently have proposed legislation that requires a government mandated age verification scheme and openly homophobic porn content filtering proposals.

How much do I despise "conservatives"? (Notice, I said conservatives. I did not say anything about the USA's fucked up GOP per se as...the conservative ideolgy is global, has shifted from political party to political party, has other names and permutations in other parts of the world, but is equally fucking stupid, so...'Murican Republicans don't get your panties into a twist, but still....go fuck yourselves.) Let me count the ways... :)

I mostly dislike them due to their ignorant philosophy which is, demonstrably proviable as being wrong on everything, always, all the time, endlessly, non-stop, historically and will be in all perpetuity.

Conservatism, is a mental disorder based on fiction and lies. I can not think of one single thing, in our current era or in history, where that/their philosophy is or has ever been accurate or correct. And I'd love to challenge someone, anyone, anywhere, to show me the error in my statement. It will not happen, because they can't, because they don't live in a fact and science based reality, but instead dwell in a fictional world of their own creation. Oh, and on the point of that last word, "creation", nah, that's not how the Universe nor life came to exist. Yet one more...Conservative notion/ideology. I was on a forum, and some guy posted the following in the thread. It's so unfortunate that so many people have guilt and shame over sex, alternate sexuality, fetish interests, kink, whatever. Anyway, my reply and thoughts are posted below his.

Might I suggest you try to rectify this train of thought, because this is no good, its not good, it's lacking in goodness.  :)

Societal & religious baggage aside, maybe ask yourself a few questions. 

Is anyone being harmed by this? 

No? Press on.

Is it occuring between consenting adults?

Yes? Press on.

Is everyone using caution, being safe and staying healthy?

Yes? Press on.

You can't live your life according to other people's expectations. You will never fully satisfy all people, and you will never satisfy yourself. Its not your obligation to adhere to some silly nonsensical archaic "rules" that other people conjured up. It's not your duty to live in a manner that does not suit you, and your significant other. The modern day expectations and norms of sex, relationships, marriage and all that are fairly recent, in the grand scheme of things timewise, and many of them are counter to how human beings are designed and how we lived for 100's of 1000's, if not millions of years. Denying our true nature, to the point of people being depressed, loathing themselves, even being suicidal is so, so, so unfortunate and it's a good example of how stupid our society is. Please don't beat yourself down for having normal urges. Yes, sex, normal or kinky, BDSM related including cuckoldry, fetish or whatever...*is* normal to the human species, and in the animal kingdom (of which we are part) regardless of what some clueless twat waffle fuckwits think about it. Sexual anthropologists and a myriad of educated people from multiple disciplines can confirm that, only uneducated uptight sexually repressed people dispute it. Listen to science and facts, not fiction. 

But most importantly, be kind to yourself.  :)
