I read a thread on a site about the 50 Shades series and how, in the view of some, it was a form of "escapism" for the submissive. I guess the point was that she didn't have to work, no kids, no responsibilities beyond attending to his needs.

So this made me curious about submissive me and the same arrangement. Meaning do some (or most?) subs desire to just be a "sheet slave" and just be at her beck and call 24/7 with no other outside activities and/or a career and so on?
