The Republican idea of self-sacrifice is expecting others to do it for them. Not all Republicans. When people say things like this...they primarily mean GOP politicians, and the twatwaffles that support the current cult that is in congress and the White House. Most average GOP voters are mostly decent people, albeit confused. :)
