Casimir Pulaski might have been a woman or intersex. Hero of the Revolutionary War and the pride of the Polish-American community, may need a new pronoun — he may have been a she, or even a they. Researchers noticed the Polish officer's delicate bone structure after the skeleton was extracted from the Pulaski monument in Savannah, Georgia.
Looking forward to the documentary on the Smithsonian Channel about this tonight. Their recent on on the 1918 flu pandemic was quite interesting, too.
