Prior to the invention of monotheistic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Muslim) people were mostly naked (depending on geography and climate) and fucked when they wanted, how they wanted and whom they wanted. Sure, things were rough, and women had few to no rights. But there was no belief that sex was a "sin" and the concept of "original sin" had yet to be invented so...people did with their bodies what God/Goddess Mother Nature intended without shame or guilt...as it should be. :)
