Reading, watching, listening to people, plants, animals and the world around us. Understanding our primal urges and how they relate to sex drives for reproduction purposes, survival of the species (any species) and for pleasures of the flesh.
Rejecting socially repressive mores and flouting societal conventions. Acknowledging our place on earth, our connection to our ancestors, grasping that we are mammalian primates, bipedal perambulators.
Public libraries (or now the Internet) have all the information ever accumulated, all the knowledge mankind has compiled and its there for the taking of those that have intellectual curiosity and a desire to know more about ourselves and the planet we reside on.
Watching mating rituals between various species in the animal kingdom. Seeing the flirtation the establishment of dominance. The teasing, the battles of males to be selected so their own genes are carried on. Seeing how sexually violent many animals become during the mating dance and/or foreplay...and realizing that our true nature is the same.
Or in other words....living your life and not watching TV. :)
