But without warning the sense of urgency to be "connected" fails to reveal what we are connecting with. By that I mean it can be addictive, this wanting to absorb all the information possible in a 24 hour cycle, and suddenly you realize that most of what you think you are "staying on top of" is silly nonsense with our less than stellar political candidates, or some nonsense that is presented as "news" but is really just gossipy trash. :)
